Jacqueline Lamme (born 1964) is a Dutch painter, draftsman, and ceramic artist. Born in Hilversum and educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Amsterdam University of the Arts, she lives and works in Amsterdam. Her work draws inspiration from nature, with particular attention to birds and other animals. In her paintings, drawings and installations she combines sharp observation of reality with a poetic and personal imagination. Lamme’s work is characterized by a sensitive visual language in which vulnerability, freedom and the relationship between humans and nature are central.
Dimensions of the work: 116 x 115 cm
