Bronze oil lamp with three burners dating from 1850–1900, made in Italy, height 60 cm, base diameter 14 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of age and in working order.
Description from the seller
Three-flame brass oil lamp – 19th century
Fascinating three-flame oil lamp crafted in turned and chiselled brass, expression of the functional elegance that characterized domestic objects of use between the second half of the 19th century and the early years of the 20th century.
The slender structure is embellished by a refined circular base and by a long stem culminating in a decorative ring that allowed for transport and suspension of the object. The central body houses three burners arranged radially, designed to guarantee greater luminous intensity compared to traditional single-flame lamps.
Particularly evocative are the original constructive details, including movable elements and accessories still present, testimony to the meticulous artisanal craftsmanship of the era. The warm patina of brass, matured over the years, gives the object authentic charm and notable decorative presence.
An example that immediately recalls the atmospheres of old European homes, private libraries and nineteenth-century drawing rooms, today ideal as a high-character furnishing element in classic, rustic or eclectic environments.
The object shows normal signs of time, oxidations and wear consistent with age, elements that confirm its authenticity and history.
Dimensions:
* Height: 60 cm
* Base diameter: 14 cm
Object of interest for collectors of historical lighting, antiques and European decorative arts.
Adequate packing and traceable shipping throughout Europe.
