Montblanc Meisterstück Classique rollerball pen, in black resin with gold trim, made in Germany in the late 20th century, model 163, serial GC104807, 14 cm long and 1 cm in diameter, in good used condition with minor signs of age and spots, in working order.
Description from the seller
Here we present, in this section, an authentic cornerstone of luxury writing: the perfect instrument for those who seek the elegance of a smooth stroke combined with maximum practicality of use—the Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Roller pen (Model 163) in premium black resin. This model represents the ideal bridge between the world of fountain pens and ballpoint pens, offering a smooth and impeccable writing experience, perfect for signing important documents or taking notes with great professional style.
The design fully respects the aesthetic standards that have made the Meisterstück line famous worldwide. The body and cap are crafted in the classic deep black precious resin, in splendid contrast with the gold finishes. On the triple central band stands the inscription "MONTBLANC - MEISTERSTÜCK", while the clip ring bears the wording "GERMANY" and the individual serial number, an unequivocal guarantee of its originality. To crown the instrument, at the top of the cap we find the inevitable and iconic six-point white star emblem. The opening reveals an elegant, balanced nib that houses the original Montblanc roller refill, as clearly shown in the photos of the piece disassembled.
The condition is overall good, showing signs of time related to honest and continual daily use. As the macro photographs document with absolute transparency, the black resin displays the classic micro-scratches from everyday use. The most evident detail concerns the metal parts, particularly the gold cone of the nib: here the plating has given way to use, showing noticeable wear and the characteristic small bubbles spread over the surface, due to physiological oxidation and loss of gilding. Despite these aesthetic signs of lived-in history, the pen is structurally solid, free of cracks, and perfect for someone seeking a prestigious piece to use every day without too many worries. It is offered individually, without the original box.
