Francesc Vidal Palmada (1894-1958) - Barcas en la playa

This oil on canvas titled "Barcas en la Playa" by the Spanish artist Francesc Vidal Palmada (1894-1958). The painting depicts a coastal scene with a wooden boat stranded on the sand in the foreground and another small boat floating near rocks in the water. The work measures approximately 46 x 55 cm without the frame, reaching 60 x 69 cm with the frame. Vidal Palmada was a painter active in Girona who specialized in seascapes of the coast.
The painting is in very good condition considering it dates from around 1950.
The frame is quite deteriorated and should be replaced; it includes glass.
