Montblanc Noblesse 1147 fountain pen, gold-plated fully in West Germany from the late 1970s/early 1980s, with a 14k gold nib (585) and a vertical ribbed body, in excellent condition and in working order, 13.8 cm long and 0.8 cm in diameter, supplied with its original presentation box, outer sleeve and the original technical paperwork.

An exceptional example of a vintage 1st-generation Montblanc Noblesse (Model No. 1147) fountain pen, manufactured in West Germany during the late 1970s / early 1980s.This premium model features a fully gold-plated metal body with a beautiful, tactile vertical ribbed design and the signature rectangular tapered spring clip. The famous Montblanc white snowflake/star logos are perfectly intact on both the crown of the cap and the base of the barrel.The highlight of this pen is its beautiful writing end, which features a solid 14-karat gold nib stamped clearly with the authentic "585" purity mark.The pen is in near-mint cosmetic condition, showing zero scratches, dents, or brassing to the gold finish. It comes complete with its original presentation box, outer sleeve, and the rare original technical paperwork detailing Montblanc's specialized 3-layer "Triple Gold Plated (24ct - 18ct - 24ct)" manufacturing process.Condition Note: An old ink cartridge sat inside the pen during storage over the decades, causing some dried ink on the nib and feed. The section has since been thoroughly and gently flushed with water and cleaned for the new owner.
