Very beautiful oil on panel measuring 24 x 33 cm, signed at the lower left 'B Retaux' and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It depicts, as is often the case with the Orientalist painter, a view of Morocco. The artist is noted as a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold in a modern frame.
