Description from the seller
Contemporary artwork enclosed in a perfect circular perimeter (round). Abstract style: Non-figurative composition based on biologically, mineral, or macroscopic-like textures. Material effect: Strong visual contrast between smooth field areas and embossed textures “cellular.” Colors and Chromaticity Background: Warm earth tones, from burnt brown to terracotta, copper with reddish shades. Contrast elements: White plaster shapes and patterns, very light gray, and hints of white. Focal details: Small spots and bright red rings that light up the composition at the center and bottom. Texture and Visual Dynamism Cellular networks: The top left area shows a dense texture reminiscent of foam, cells, or corals. Crater-like shapes: At the center and right, thick concentric circles emerge, evoking lunar craters or mineral cross-sections. Fluid movement: The alternation between solid (smooth) areas and geometric voids creates a sense of perpetual organic change. Artist biography YOIOIY Yoiioy is an artist who has made embroidery and textile art her passion, a deep bond rooted in family tradition. Self-taught, she has taken several training courses to refine her skills and continues to experiment with new techniques, seeking an authentic inner dimension and a personal creative expression that characterizes her. Her artistic practice develops mainly through embroidery and textile art, but it also extends to acrylic painting on canvas and collage, using materials such as colored threads, buttons, and acrylics. Her works are distinguished by the complexity of the compositions and the use of abstract and conceptual forms, often characterized by interweavings of lines and vibrant colors that create a sense of movement and interconnection. Yoiioy explores themes related to chaos and order, harmony and complexity, offering a visual dialogue that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the textures and stratifications of her works. Her versatility and the continuous evolution of her artistic language have also been recognized by art critics, who emphasize her energy and expressive brilliance. Through a path of constant experimentation and updating, Yoiioy continues to search for her artistic voice, maintaining a balance between tradition and innovation, and giving life to works that reflect intense inner research and refined technical skill. She has been presented at several fairs, including international ones such as the International Fair Art 3F - October 7–9, 2022, in Marseille. The artist has been described by critics as follows: “A vast research that ranges from figuration to conceptuality and which highlights the sparkling versatility of the artist, who knows how to create diversified works with great skill, making use of always original techniques. An energetic verve and brilliant holds an ever-evolving expression.” Art critic Dr. Anna Soricaro Present in various industry articles.
