Stunning antique collectible pipe, stamped "Bruyère Garantie", probably made in the Jura.
The briar root bowl lacquered burgundy-red is adorned with a hand-carved medallion depicting a stag in an Alpine landscape.
The metal fittings include a white-metal band and a two-tone hinged lid plated in gold or brass, adorned with a geometric engraved pattern. The hinge and the hook are original and perfectly functional.
The pipe stem consists of alternating segments of turned bone or ivory and black ebonite, with a red vulcanite mouthpiece and original green decorative cords. Small defect: the metal ring is detached.
