Parker 45 two‑pen set with a fountain pen and a rollerball, gold‑plated caps and plastic bodies, supplied in its original velvet case with a metal‑trim edge, origin France, late 20th century, serials 34989 and 23765, length 14 cm and diameter 1.2 cm, in excellent condition and fully functional, with manuals and certificates included.
Description from the seller
Magnificent set of fountain pen and rolling ball pen from the Parker brand, model 75.
A model highly regarded and known for its innovative design and its adjustable nib.
This set is well preserved in its original high-quality velvet-lined case with a gold-toned metal edge. The case bears the Parker logo and lettering.
All of its documents are also present, including the user manual, the original certificate, and the inspection and warranty certificate.
This set was acquired on 11/29/1980. Despite its age, it is still in excellent overall condition.
The fountain pen bears its reference number engraved 34989.
The caps are gold-plated and bear the Parker engravings and “made in France” as well as the Parker house logo.
The ink-filling system for the fountain pen is a piston converter system. Made in the USA. A mechanism used for high-end writing instruments to draw ink directly from a bottle.
Both pens have been tested and are functional; however they will be delivered without ink and without refills.
Important notes:
Aesthetic defect: the fountain pen shows a minor visual defect on the body near the nib that does not affect its operation and does not degrade its overall aesthetic. See the photos shared in which a zoom is focused on this defect.
The rolling ball pen requires a new refill. The original refill is empty and will be provided as a reference only if needed.
A complete and well-preserved set for enthusiasts of high-end writing instruments and collectors of Parker-brand models that have marked history.
