Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. "Vessels" A strict yet sensual Cubist composition, centered on two generalized vessel-figures, rising above the surface like monumental objects. Their silhouettes rounded necks tapering toward the base of the body, and smooth volume transitions balance between a still life of objects and an archetypal image of form itself.
The bottles and jugs are broken down into their component planes, superimposed on one another in the spirit of analytical Cubism. The warm ochre and golden bronze tones of the vessels contrast with the cool steel blue and deep burgundy background.
