Very nice piece of nautical memorabilia from the French Riviera.
Dimensions: Panel 73 cm x 22 cm
Condition: Good overall, original varnish with a beautiful patina. No cracks or major damage to the wood (see photos).

This plaque comes from a STAR in an advanced state of disrepair found in July 1995 at the site of the former Chantier Voisin in Villefranche-sur-Mer (port of the Darse). The document lists several STARs registered in 1946 at the Villefranche-sur-Mer Sailing Club with their owners (Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Nice...).
