Detailed description:
I am offering at auction a rare model from the Pelikan collection: the R620 roller pen, part of the special edition "Grand Places" dedicated to the famous Piazza Navona in Rome. Marketed over a short period starting in 2004/2005, this model based on the size of the Souverän 600 has not been produced for many years.
The body and cap are crafted in a unique resin mimicking the hues of Roman stone and travertine, alternating amber, cream and slightly gray reflections. Each specimen has its own distinctive marbling pattern.
This exemplar was purchased new in 2005. It has been very lightly used, stored with great care and is in excellent condition, with no notable micro-scratches or gilding wear. The thread and cap closure click are impeccable.
Contents of the sale (Full Set):
- The Pelikan R620 Piazza Navona roller pen
- Its original box
- The instruction booklet
- The original purchase certificate
Note regarding the refill: The original refill is present. It still operates for writing but is nearing the end of its life. It should be replaced soon (the model accepts standard international-size roller refills or Pelikan 338).
A sought-after piece for collectors of Pelikan's City Series (Cities and Grand Places).
Shipping: Careful and secure shipping with tracking.
