Description from the seller

Photographic portrait - Hand-signed.
Edition: 85/100.
Photograph from my private collection, created by Chema Madoz. Very difficult to find, especially for collectors.
Signed and numbered by the artist, printed on baryta paper with conservation treatment and mounted on a mat.
The photograph is by the well-known international photographer Chema Madoz.
Madoz alters reality by merging two concepts in a poetic and ironic clash. In this shot, the iconic traffic sign (the arrow indicating a mandatory direction or a path to follow) ceases to be artificial paint on asphalt and becomes dark earth and vegetation.
The conceptual contradiction: It is a play of textures and ideas. The road is arid and clear, while the arrow that pushes forward is made of organic and fertile matter. It speaks to us of direction, of destiny, of nature opening its way, or of the paths of life, all condensed into a minimalist black-and-white composition.
