Montblanc - Pen

Here we present one of the most material, technical and bold variants of the most modern line from the Hamburg manufactory: the Montblanc StarWalker Rubber & Metal Line Ballpoint Pen (Rubber & Metal).

This model stands out for a design with a distinctly architectural and sporty footprint. The body of the pen is not simply resin, but is coated in soft black high-density rubber. The surface is intersected by an elegant diamond-cut grid pattern, whose lines are thick and finished in shiny platinum, creating an incredible visual and tactile contrast. This combination of materials guarantees exceptional grip during writing. At the top of the cap is the famous transparent dome inside which the white star emblem seems to float in space.

The mechanical operation relies on the classic and smooth twist rotation system. As shown in the photos of the instrument disassembled, there is the solid brass internal threading that certifies its authenticity and robustness. The pen uses an original Montblanc refill.

The mechanical and structural condition is excellent, but aesthetically the pen presents in good condition with normal signs of wear. In the name of maximum transparency, supported by the photographic set, a small superficial abrasion/wear mark on the black rubber coating of the barrel is noted (clearly visible in the photos). For the rest, the platinum grid is bright, the dome is intact and the clip is perfectly taut.
