Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from a collection.
Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Skedro and with a double gallery stamp.
Title: Silence of the Spatula
Measurements: 60x45 cm
Year: 2024
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose work focuses on representing identity as a process of continual transformation. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural and tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where sign, color, and material intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in a state of becoming.

NB: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: you can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
