Angelo Scardino's Corpo Urbano, a unique sculpture (2026) in PLA and resin, features a black glossy trunk-like structure with chromatic inserts and gold details, measuring 46 × 60 × 25 cm, signed by hand and weighing 1 kg.
Description from the seller
Corpo Urbano is an original sculpture by Angelo Scardino, made in PLA and resin, with a glossy black structure, chromatic inserts, and gilded details. The work presents itself as a transforming architectural trunk: a vertical, perforated and stratified figure, in which the grid becomes skin, skeleton, and memory.
The sculpture recalls a trunk-city-organism, a fragile yet vital architecture traversed by solids, voids, grafts, and internal presences. The black lattice builds a form suspended between building, armor, and natural figure, almost cellular. The gilded details, visible inside the structure, suggest a precious memory hidden in the body of matter.
The work belongs to the artist's exploration of the relationship between architecture, body, matter, and urban transformation. Realized through three-dimensional modeling, manual intervention, and a resin finish, Corpo Urbano is a unique piece, suitable for private collections, contemporary environments, and minimal exhibition spaces.
Insured and traceable shipping, with professional packaging and a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
