The CC 2017 Release is the inaugural expression of the distillery's acclaimed annual limited-edition series. It was crafted to offer a contemporary, high-proof (Cask Strength) interpretation of the brand's classic spirit profile.
Maturation: Exclusively in European and American oak casks seasoned with Oloroso Sherry from Spain. Limited to 90,000 bottles worldwide.
Tasting Notes
Color: Deep amber or rich natural copper, with no added caramel coloring.
Nose: Prominent aromas of vanilla custard, wet sherry, orange marmalade, sweet ginger, and light dark wood notes.
Palate: Intense yet balanced entry featuring creamy toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, dates, and constant citrus zest.
Finish: Long and satisfying, leaving a resinous feeling of toasted oak, cocoa, and sweet baking spices
