SEBASTIANO ALTOMARE was born in Avola, Sicily in 1946, and passed away in 2022.
His research develops around geometric and constructive themes.
He pays particular attention to experimentation and the composition of shapes in space, associated with luminous colors tending toward the spiritual such as gold and blue.
Active on the art scene since 1973, he held various solo exhibitions, most notably at Galleria il Ponte in Rome; at the Centro d’Arte Plastica in Udine; at the Dionisio Gallery in Syracuse and at the Spazio Vitale Gallery in Catania.
