Description from the seller
This work in mixed technique is by the Slovak artist Milan Lukáč (1962), a versatile sculptor, draftsman and painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and refined his training at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. During his career he participated in numerous international residencies, symposia and exhibitions and received various prestigious distinctions, including the Young Sculptors Prize of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His work is in public and private collections at home and abroad. In addition to his independent artistic practice, in which he creates sculptures, drawings and paintings, he has also realized many monumental artworks, monuments and memorials. Lukáč lives and works in Bratislava, where he is also affiliated as a lecturer at the university.
