For sale is an absolute highlight for collectors and tone enthusiasts: a Fender Excelsior tube amplifier from the legendary and limited Pawn Shop Series (model PR 2298).
This amp combines the quirky vibe of an old US pawnshop find from the 1950s/60s with modern reliability and pure tube tone. The distinctive Art Deco-inspired enclosure with the iconic "E" grille is a striking sight on any stage or in the studio.
The ultimate sound upgrade:
The biggest weakness of the original amp has been perfectly addressed here: The stock speaker has been replaced with a high-end 15" Eminence Red Coat "Big Ben" (Made in USA). This refined speaker gives the amp a warm, powerful foundation, silky highs, and the coveted British-flavored vintage character. A subtle “Eminence Inside” plaque was added to the front to match.
