Description from the seller
"Garden Flower 03" is organized as a minimalist architecture that evokes the idea of access or passage. The large orange arch, open and striking, functions as a symbolic door that frames a vertical blue axis, establishing a tension between interior and exterior, between what is contained and what passes through. At the top, the fragmented semicircular shape suggests a suspended sun or an incomplete vault, reinforcing the notion of boundary and passage.
The use of color intensifies this reading: the warm, expansive orange contrasts with the central blue, denser and deeper, generating a contrast that is not only chromatic but also spatial. The dark base anchors the structure, giving it weight and stability, while the neutral background eliminates any contextual reference, placing the scene in a mental, almost metaphysical space.
The work can be understood as a metaphor of the threshold: an intermediate place where something begins or ends. There is no explicit narrative, but there is a sense of contained transit, of energy held back in the moment before crossing. In its formal economy, the piece builds a clear, quiet language, where geometry becomes perceptual experience.
About MUMA:
MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a 3D Generalist and Designer and an Art Historian, both trained at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice focuses on the visual arts, with special interest in color, movement, and the dynamism of forms, as well as variations of the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into space and to establish a direct dialogue with everyday life and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of Impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color, and changing environments. MUMA is connected to the professional world of digital and visual arts in Madrid, with participation in competitions.
On preparation, packaging and shipment of the work:
The work is hand-signed by the artistic duo and also comes with an authenticity certificate signed by them.
