Exceptional original color lithography by Guy Roussille (born 1944, Lot-et-Garonne), a French artist linked to the Phases movement and to lyrical abstraction, whose prints were produced notably at URDLA (Centre international de l'estampe, Lyon).
Title: "La Tempête"
Technique: Original color lithography, mixed media, printed on thick wove paper.
Numbering: EA IX/XVIII — artist's proof, 9th of only 18 copies.
Signed in pencil at the lower right by the artist.
Condition: Excellent — vibrant colors, sound paper, no defects.
Abstract composition of rare visual power, blending explosive geometry, intense chromaticism and dramatic tension, explosive abstraction, highly saturated palette, geometric formal vocabulary intertwined with the organic — typical of Roussille's production in the 1980s.
