Description from the seller
The work of Nicole Lubbers, visual artist.
Nicole has been proclaimed one of the 100 best female artists in the world. And she is recognized as a master of art and will receive a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York.
Transform your space with Nicole Lubbers’s work, an enchanting abstract piece that celebrates the power of resilience and upward progress. Lubbers is known for her innovative approach to abstract art; she uses a striking color palette and dynamic shapes to create a captivating visual narrative.
The rich colors and complex textures of the artwork captivate the viewer and invite reflection on themes such as perseverance and strength. The bold composition of the work makes it an ideal centerpiece for diverse environments, from modern living rooms to elegant offices and refined galleries.
You will receive this artwork as a rolled canvas print. This means the fabric will be sent loose and unframed. We take care to protect the work during transport while giving you the freedom to have it framed or extended exactly to your liking. Have the canvas professionally stretched with a frame machine on a stretcher bar.
Or choose a more beautiful frame of your choice — with or without glass, depending on your style.
Some hobby shops or framers also offer DIY kits to stretch the fabric yourself.
Nicole’s work is more than just artwork: it’s a powerful message of enduring elegance and the pursuit of greatness. Embrace the energy and inspiration it brings to your space and let it serve as a constant reminder of the beauty of overcoming challenges.
She will also have a joint exhibition with the artist Michael Lam.
This exhibition is titled: Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision
Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers
In a striking celebration of artistic synergy, Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers will grace the giant screen of Times Square with their joint exhibition, Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. This groundbreaking event brings together two unique creative voices to showcase a fusion of techniques, styles, and expressions, united by their shared passion for the transformative power of art.
Michael Lam, a master of Single Stroke Painting, has fascinated audiences for decades with his ability to convey deep depth and emotion in a single flowing brushstroke. His works are a testament to the discipline and meditative focus needed to transform complexity into simplicity. Each stroke carries an inherent rhythm that reflects the essence of movement and life.
Nicole Lubbers, on the other hand, is known for her structured, sculptural compositions that blur the boundaries between painting and relief. Her creations explore the interplay of light and shadow and offer a tangible experience that invites visitors to explore on multiple sensory levels. Through her complex layers and innovative use of materials, Nicole creates dynamic pieces that evoke both power and vulnerability.
Together, Michael and Nicole have curated an exhibition in which their distinct artistic languages flow together into a harmonious dialogue. The theme purple — a color often associated with creativity, spirituality, and transformation — runs as a through-line, weaving her works into a cohesive visual story. This collaboration celebrates the balance between movement and stillness, fluidity and texture, and invites the audience to immerse themselves in a space where contrasts complement each other.
The premiere of the exhibition on the iconic Times Square screen marks an important milestone for both artists. Times Square, known as the Way of the Cross of the World, provides an unparalleled platform to present their vision to a global audience. Against the backdrop of the city’s electric energy, Harmony in Motion promises to captivate the audience and leave a lasting impression on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision is more than an art exhibition; it is evidence of the power of collaboration, the beauty of diversity, and the shared human experience that art can evoke. Through their work, Michael Lam and Nicole Lubbers remind us that harmony, both in art and in life, arises when we embrace our differences and similarities.
