I’m a visual artist based in Spain and KromaTiK is my alter ego. The name KromaTik, or Kroma, as my friends usually call me, references the use of color as an artistic act.
Nobody knows who I am or how old I am; I prefer to remain anonymous. I have no website or social networks because I like to devote my time to the studio, working on my painting.
I hold a degree in Fine Arts and I have exhibited in cities like Barcelona and Madrid and I have experience in street art, installation and mural painting. I have received various awards and mentions and my works are around the world.
Before studying Fine Arts I came from the world of mathematics and physics, so I’m very interested in topics such as the cosmos and the universe, science and human and universal connections.
I like to work with abstract art because it forces me to paint without paying too much attention to what appears on the canvas, embracing and making use of accident. It is gestural and intuitive painting trying to connect with my most primitive and authentic self. I usually work in series; it helps me organize emotions and feelings.
I’m inspired by films like "Contact" or "Interstellar" and they directly influence my painting with their aesthetics and with their vision of dystopian futures that fire up my imagination. Also others like "Kill Bill".
I like to create connections with my clients; I think that’s the way to close the circle between artist and collector, where the energy of the collective is transformed and gives meaning to the act of creation.
This work explores human and universal connections through the dance of brushstrokes, textures and colors, creating a vital flow. The Dialogue of Humanity with Nature is manifested in a deep connection, harmony and cosmic chaos between the human being and everything around us.
Technique: Mixed media: acrylic, spray. There are no prints.
The indicated measurements refer to the canvas. Mounted on a frame, the dimensions will be smaller for installation.
The artwork is delivered unframed (professional packing, rolled in a tube).
The painting is created from free improvisation. Hand-signed on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity.

Since I finished my studies in Fine Arts I have been experimenting in different fields such as painting, installation, urban art, murals and design, creating my own enigmatic and visual style.
I use intense colors as a personal language, organic shapes full of life that have the ability to envelop you with positivity and reflection.
It may seem frivolous or naive, but using color to express yourself in these times is an act of rebellion.
I have exhibited in numerous hotels and galleries between Madrid and Barcelona, where I currently work and have my studio, my works have been sold in places such as the United States, Mexico, Spain and France, among others.
My work has been selected in urban art and muralism competitions in Spain.
