Biography:
JonOne (Franco-American, born in 1963 in New York), renowned for his graffiti-influenced works, was born in the Harlem neighborhood, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolves. He began creating, with a childhood friend, graffiti of his name from the age of 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together the passion of graffiti writers.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a canvas painter in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in Parisian art circles thanks to his canvas works, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is presented permanently.
