epoque (1860-1890)
the sultan represented with a large beard, which allowed the smoker of this pipe to hold it in hand without burning

descending to the second pipe
old terracotta pipe from the Gambier factory referenced under number 792
the character depicted is a caricature of the French politician Louis-Mathieu Molé
third pipe, still descending
Belgian terracotta pipe manufactured by the famous Wingender Brothers pipe shop in Chokier (Liège in Belgium)

identical to the first but with inscription "I am the beautiful Jacob"
SF and 786 referring to the number of the official catalog used by Schmidt brothers
