Artist biography:
Mario Bonamici was an artist born in Paris in 1912 and who passed away in Lausanne in 2002. Coming from a family of Italian painters whose parents came to France in 1910, he began drawing and painting at a very early age. From the age of sixteen, he attended the School of Decorative Arts and made his debut at the famous Jarach and Chambry workshop as an illustrator. He moved in the worlds of fashion, theater, and cinema. His brilliant pencil stroke drew attention, and he dedicated part of his professional life in France and Switzerland as a fashion designer in parallel with his career as a painter.
