On a water’s edge terrace, an elegant woman in a long pale satin dress stands beside a lit lantern, bathed in the clarity of the full moon tracing a silver trail on the sea. In the distance, the lights of a coastal village twinkle. The Yack abandons here the bright daylight for a romantic nocturne, where chiaroscuro and pearlescent reflections reveal his full mastery of luminism.
The Yack, a rising French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a creative director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited within a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
