Panamarenko (Henri Van Herwegen) (1940-2019) was one of the most important Belgian contemporary visual artists and designed many imaginary vehicles.
Numbered offset print BING II (preparatory study for a similarly named spacecraft). This was a numbered print issued as an appendix to the newspaper De Standaard. Printed on bio-top paper 160 g/m². This is no. 043426.
Signed on the plate.
In good condition.

Panamarenko, the artist name of Henri Van Herreweghe (Antwerp, February 5, 1940 – Brakel, December 14, 2019) was a Belgian sculptor. He is regarded as one of the leading Belgian sculptors of the second half of the 20th century. He made many assemblages that deal with flight.
Panamarenko is a pseudonym and a portmanteau of "Pan American Airlines and Company."
