THE GOLDEN HORSE is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this work, the horse figure discards all realistic references to become an emblem of energy, nobility, and freedom. Suspended over a golden plain, almost hovering between earth and sky, the animal appears in a moment of impossible elevation that gives it a mythical character, as if it belonged more to the realm of dream than to that of the landscape.
