Description from the seller
Artist Description
The Berlin-based artist is self-taught with a solid hands-on foundation. He originally completed a traditional painter's apprenticeship and comes from the graffiti scene. This combination of street-ready energy and solid painting training remains a major advantage for his work today.
His works operate at the intersection of street art and contemporary painting. With raw contrasts, urban textures and a deliberately provocative aesthetic, he creates images that confront the viewer directly. Themes that are usually suppressed or taboo in public discourse are central to his art. His images are not decorative adornment – they are a deliberate disturbance in daily life. They invite the viewer to question their own perspective and provoke thought through their unvarnished directness.

Painted Original DDR Vinyl Record – Unique Street-Art Original “Kosah”
Exclusive Art Object: An original Amiga record from the DDR (VEB Deutsche Schallplatten), hand-painted and transformed into a high-quality street-art piece.
Details about the Record:
Label: Amiga / VEB Deutsche Schallplatten
Catalog number: 450 570 B
Title: “Wenn ich dich nicht schon längst geheiratet hätt’” – Rico und Andy
Typical pressings of the Amiga era (70s/80s)
The Art:
The black vinyl was intricately and detail-orientedly designed in the graffiti-street-art style. The dominant, dynamic lettering “KOSAH” stretches across the record and was painted with high-quality acrylic markers in a precise and multi-layered manner. Notably highlighted are the bright colors orange, red, beige and turquoise with strong white and black outlines, giving the piece depth and volume.
In addition, the record was sprayed with spray paint – both the background and parts of the lettering show characteristic spray effects, drips and color gradients. In the lower area, the inscription “ONE” completes the overall image.
The artwork impresses with its bold color palette, high craftsmanship, and the successful fusion of classic DDR vinyl with modern Urban Art. The painted record is a true one-off by the artist Kosah and a highlight for collectors of street art, graffiti art and DDR memorabilia.
Condition: The record was intentionally used as an art carrier. The painting is clean and of high quality. Due to the artistic treatment, it is no longer playable.
Perfect to hang as a wall piece – a strong statement piece with DDR history and contemporary street-art aesthetics.
