Rare and unique screen print from the series “Five Geometric Figures in Five Colors” (1986) by Sol LeWitt.
This work is listed in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné under reference 1986.06.
It is Plate #19, a geometric figure in gray, executed in LeWitt's characteristic minimalist and conceptual style.
The work is hand-signed in pencil in the bottom right.
This screen print is not numbered, as each print in this series is unique in its color composition and combination.
As described in the Sol LeWitt Prints Catalogue Raisonné: 150 Sets were multicolor. These sets are all unique in their combination (some sets of five contain more than one form in the same color). None of these sets is numbered, as they are all one-of-a-kind.
