Copy and Paste is an aerial photograph by Sara Zanini depicting Gangi, in Sicily. The houses, perched along the slope, form a compact weave of façades, balconies and terracotta roofs. The title evokes the repetition of architectural elements, which seem to multiply like similar but never identical modules. The overhead perspective compresses space and turns the village into a geometric mosaic made of lines, colors and textures.
