Description from the seller
Title: Human Modules #5
Series: Where Forms Reside
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
A vibrant, architectural piece that explores the complexity of human relationships and collective identity through a sophisticated geometric abstraction. The composition presents an intricate network of interwoven color bands that form a grid, within which human silhouettes are integrated, some facing left and others facing right. This structure evokes the idea of a social fabric, a labyrinth of connections and encounters.
The use of color is bold and rhythmic: solid blocks of orange, pink, cobalt blue, black, and ochre overlap and cross over a neutral warm background, creating a sense of depth and movement. The profiles, resolved in flat tones of blue, black, and pink, act as nodes in this network, symbolizing individuality within a larger structure and the constant dialogue between the "self" and the "other".
Its aesthetic is clean, graphic, and with hard edges, aligning with contemporary minimalism with influences from pop art and modern graphic design. The repetition of forms and the vibrant color palette provide dynamic energy and universal legibility. This piece works both decoratively, as a focal point of color and form, and conceptually, inviting reflection on identity, community, and interconnection.
The work is a visual celebration of diversity and interaction, where formal simplicity amplifies a message of unity and human complexity.
The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packaged in a sturdy tube for shipment.
The images you are seeing now are examples of how the artwork may look when framed and hung on a wall.
