"Ceryle rudis" belongs to the LONERS collection; these portraits capture the beauty and extraordinary fragility of life, offering a conscious and deep visual testimony of fauna to be preserved. Each of the portrayed animals is unique in its beauty and characteristics and tells of courage, patience, pride, and the delicate perfection of its species. The title of the photo describes a feature or detail.
"Ceryle rudis" takes its title from the scientific name of the animal portrayed in order to valorize and exalt every peculiarity, pushing the observer to an in-depth, retrospective exploration. This Kingfisher was photographed along the majestic Murchison Falls in Uganda.
The LONERS collection has been exhibited since 2020 in Rome.
