This abstract composition by Victor Hasch testifies to a gestural exploration where the energy of the stroke meets the delicacy of the material. The work rests on a precarious balance between spontaneity and mastery, where the density of a charcoaly black, applied with force and nervousness, occupies a surface lightened by blocks of white and pale pink. The canvas bears traces of the artist's direct gesture, between accidental drips and deliberate marks, suggesting an instinctive approach to the creative process.
The addition of touches of red and blue, applied in small controlled strokes, disrupts this sober palette by injecting additional dynamism into the composition. The whole, at the boundary of the informal and the minimalist, recalls certain explorations of Art Brut or gestural trends of the late 20th century, where the act of painting becomes an immediate transcription of a fleeting thought. By its discreet signature "VH" at the bottom right, Hasch anchors the work in a personal dimension and asserts a form of total freedom, where abstraction becomes a language in itself, freed from any figurative representation, leaving only pure and raw emotion.
