Andre Brasilier. French artist born 1929. While his motives are often women, flowers and horses, this lithograph from 1959 depicts a red violin on a table aside a bouquet of flowers, all in blue and primarily red colourtones.
It is handsigned in pencil and annotated "epreuve d'artiste" an artist's proof aside the edition of 75 numbered copies.
Condition generally good. Verso with remains of tape in the upper paperedge, recto with a skinned area in the upper paperedge and and inscription in another hand in ink with the name of the artist in lower right corner. Composition measures 54 x 41,5 cm printed on Arches 70 x 50 cm
