Here we present one of the most sophisticated and contemporary writing instruments in Hamburg craftsmanship, capable of uniting classic materials with exquisitely modern textures: the Montblanc StarWalker Doué Fineliner / Roller.

This specific variant stands out for an extraordinary visual and tactile contrast. The cap and the imposing grip section are made of solid platinum-plated metal, embellished with a refined horizontal line engraving (circular guilloché). This ribbed finish catches the light, creating continuous metallic reflections. The central body is forged in classic black precious resin, but it also adopts the same tactile ribbed motif, ensuring an exceptional grip and a dynamic aesthetic. To crown it all, the famous transparent dome atop the cap is present, inside which the white star emblem appears to float magically.

The model is a Fineliner / Rollerball (with removable cap). Your excellent photographs of the instrument disassembled highlight a beloved mechanical detail of the StarWalker line: the metal threading on the base of the barrel, which allows the cap to be firmly screwed onto the back of the pen during writing, ensuring perfect weight balance. It currently houses its original Fineliner refill (marker-style), but it is fully compatible with Montblanc classic Rollerball refills.

The condition is to be considered excellent overall. The platinum-plated metal parts maintain a formidable mirror finish; only the very light and physiological hairline micro-scratches resulting from normal handling are visible, with no dents or deep scratches. The black resin is flawless and pristine. The serial code is regularly engraved on the clip ring.
