Vintage Hollywood Regency Floor Ashtray - Brass & Genuine Onyx - 1950s/1960s
An elegant and luxurious mid-century floor-standing smoker's companion (ashtray stand) executed in the distinctive Hollywood Regency style, dating from the 1950s–1960s. This sophisticated piece beautifully combines ornate, heavy cast brass details with high-quality, genuine natural onyx stone elements.
The top features an ornate baroque/rococo style loop handle for easy carrying, a polished onyx tray with rich natural amber and cream veining, and an integrated detailed brass cigarette rest. The central column is accented with a beautifully shaped geometric onyx sleeve, leading down to a heavy, ornate cast brass base inset with a matching thick onyx disc, ensuring excellent stability.
Due to its elegant design, this versatile piece is highly sought after in modern interior design to be repurposed as an entry hall catch-all (vide-poche) for keys or jewelry next to an armchair.
