Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Elysee fountain pen with a lacquer body and stainless steel cap, a 14K white gold nib, made in France, measuring 14.6 cm in length and 1.3 cm in diameter, in excellent used condition.
Description from the seller
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, notably for its impressive lacquer finish on the body and stainless steel on the cap, which retains an intense mirror-like shine and a highly attractive aesthetic, thanks to the design of its cap.
The body and cap maintain an excellent presence, with light micro-scratches typical of careful use and consistent with its polished nature, where even the slightest contact tends to be noticeable. No dents, dings, or deformations are seen, preserving its structure and alignment perfectly.
Decorative elements, such as rings and clip, are in very good condition, firm and functional, with no play. The screw-close mechanism operates with precision, offering a secure fit.
The white gold nib 14K (750) is in excellent condition, clean and well preserved, with no visible deformations. The feed is correct and writing has been tested, delivering a smooth and consistent stroke, ready for immediate use.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, with minimal signs of use, ideal for both collection and everyday use.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. If not used for a long period, clean with warm water, dry completely before storage, and keep in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve its correct function.
Happy bidding!
