Pineider Arco Oak fountain pen in celluloid, 13.9 cm long and 1.3 cm in diameter, manufactured in Italy in 2010–2020, in good used condition with minor signs and in working order.
Description from the seller
The Pineider Arco Oak pen is presented in a very well-kept condition, notably for the liveliness and depth of its “Arco” resin, where the brown-amber grains retain an intense shine and a very attractive three-dimensional effect. This type of material is typically especially valued when it preserves this visual richness, as is the case here.
Aesthetically, the body shows no structural damage, cracks, or deformations, maintaining its original integrity. Only micro-scratches typical of light and respectful use are visible, practically inevitable in pieces of this kind, but which do not affect its presence or its functional value at all.
The metal elements with a palladium finish — the central band, clip, and nib — are in generally good condition, preserving their shine. They may show very light signs of use visible only upon close inspection, normal for a well-maintained second-hand piece.
The twist mechanism works correctly, offering a smooth and precise action, which confirms that the piece has been properly cared for and serviced.
Overall, this is a very good-condition example, with an attractive aesthetic and perfectly suitable for both use and collection.
Conservation recommendations
To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use compatible quality refills, avoid drops or impacts, keep it away from excessive humidity and extreme temperatures, occasionally clean the exterior with a soft cloth, and store it in an individual case to prevent micro-scratches.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
