The sheet is so reflective that my image appears as I photograph, but this is what Heinz Mack set out: the surroundings and the observer merge with the work. At the same time the interaction between color and texture gives the work a sense of three-dimensionality, as the intricate weave of fine lines creates an optical effect of movement and depth. Mack, known for his exploration of light and kinetic art, uses these elements to immerse the viewer in a study of luminosity and spatial perception. This work exemplifies Mack’s ability to transform simple forms into vibrant, almost tactile visual experiences.
The work is accompanied by the invoice and certification of authenticity and provenance.
