Desert Staged, by Le Yack (Alexandre Pelletier), a limited edition (20), signed by the artist, giclée on canvas mounted on a wooden frame, 40 × 40 cm, produced in France, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Under the scorching sun of a dry, arid landscape, a woman wearing a pastel pink dress from the 1950s sits gracefully in the shade of the aluminum trailer’s gleaming awning. The vehicle’s metallic surface, like a distorting mirror, reflects not only distant mountains and the back of the woman's figure, but above all reveals the narrative key of the work: the ghostly reflection of a man holding a camera, freezing this exact moment. This subtle mise-en-abyme transforms a scene of summer calm into a fascinating reflection on voyeurism, memory, and the theatrics of our lives. Le Yack masterfully handles the dazzling light effects and the texture of chromed metal, offering a canvas of great psychological depth.
