LeYack presents the hand-signed giclée on canvas "Before the Storm" (40 × 40 cm), a limited edition of 20 produced in France, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A deserted quay by the edge of a lake or bay. A end-of-the-world sky — storm clouds of monumental blue-gray occupying three quarters of the canvas, pierced by a yellow beam of light breaking through a tear. At the bottom, minuscule, two silhouettes face each other — a woman, a man, separated by a few meters and by all they haven’t said. A boat is moored to the right. No one else.
The Yack builds here his most openly Hopper-esque image — nature as an inner state, the storm as a metaphor for the conversation that hasn’t yet taken place. Are they about to part or to come together again? The beam of light piercing the clouds perhaps answers — or perhaps not.
