Platform 4 - Hand signed, a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas by Le Yack, limited to 20 copies, hand-signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, produced in France.
Description from the seller
In the vast, wood-lined hall of a maritime station, two travelers share the same bench while remaining hermetic to one another. The woman turns her gaze toward the dark, restless sea framed by large, horseshoe-shaped windows, while the man, a silhouette anchored in his trench coat, stays frozen in his thoughts. Geometric beams of light traverse the room, accentuating the psychological distance between the characters. This work freezes the scene in a cinematic silence, exploring the mystery of stationary departures and the boundary between the protective interior and the brute vastness of the sea.
Le Yack, emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans.
