The Crimson Glance - Hand Signed by Le Yack, a limited edition (20) giclée on canvas mounted on a wooden frame, 40 x 40 cm, produced in France and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Within a procession of silhouettes of women in muted tones and evasive faces, one woman stands out with magnetic intensity. Suspended in time, she breaks the anonymity of the crowd to fix the viewer with a piercing and assured gaze. Her dark elegance, evocative of fashion from the 1930s and 1940s, is suddenly electrified by the broad, dramatic movement of a piece of vivid red fabric escaping from her outfit, sweeping the bottom of the composition. The delicate blur enveloping the other figures reinforces the sharpness of her face and the strength of her presence. Le Yack signs here a visually striking work on individual affirmation, contrasting ambient passivity with a burst of chromatic audacity.
