The Last Threshold - Hand signed is a 40 x 40 cm giclée on wood by Le Yack, hand signed, produced in France, limited edition of 20 numbered copies, sold directly by the artist, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
This work offers a gripping vision of the turning moment. A man alone, seen from behind, stands facing an open door onto an infinite nocturnal city, surmounted by a red “EXIT” sign that acts as a signal both physical and mental. The composition plays with a rigorous, almost architectural geometry, reinforced by a subtle contrast between the warm interior light and the deep blue of the urban landscape.
The image evokes both departure, decision, modern isolation, and the lure of the unknown. In an aesthetic that recalls certain codes of American realism and contemplative cinema, the piece establishes a silent tension between inner security and outer vertigo. The character thus becomes a universal figure: that of the human being confronted with their choices, their fears, and their possibilities.
Through its enigmatic atmosphere and its highly controlled visual balance, this creation will appeal to lovers of contemporary art, symbolic urban scenes, and images with a strong narrative resonance.
