The complex flavor profile comes from a distinctive two-stage maturation method curated by the distillery

First 12 Years: The spirit ages quietly in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, which impart essential base layers of soft vanilla and honey.

Final 3 Years: The whisky is split equally among three different styles of exceptional, hand-selected sherry casks from the renowned González Byass bodega: Amoroso, Apóstoles, and Matusalem Oloroso. These liquids are ultimately reunited to marry and harmonize in an upright sherry butt.

The Aroma (Nose): Orange marmalade, warm cinnamon, and nutmeg.

The Palate (Mouth): Sweet mandarin, rich vanilla, spicy ginger, and crushed apples.

The Finish: Lingering notes of caramelized orange paired with rich, dark chocolate.

Finished in sherry casks. The nose is slightly reticent, with orange peel, instant coffee, and a hint of burning coal. More obvious orange notes on the palate, with milk chocolate and drying oak. Dark chocolate and slightly bitter oak in the medium-length finish.
