Under precious fabrics and drapes from another era, a presence stands at a distance from the gaze. She inhabits the world of appearances, roles, and silences.

Then the veil lifts. The same woman appears, nude, not as a revelation but as an enigma. A discreet truth, inaccessible, that remains beyond signs.

Between these two states flows the same breath. The same woman traverses the image, like Janus guarding the threshold between what is shown and what is revealed. In this fragile space, appearance and being no longer oppose each other: they respond to each other, like the two inseparable faces of a single existence.
