Elegant French tobacco pipe by ROPP, presented in its original fitted retailer's case from the renowned Lyon tobacconist Au Sultan, 66 Passage de l'Argue.
The pipe is crafted from attractive briar wood (bruyère) with a warm natural grain and fitted with a black vulcanite/ebonite stem bearing the ROPP logo inset. Its slender, lightweight form makes it a comfortable and refined smoker.
The original red velvet-covered fitted case remains fully functional and closes securely. The retailer's label inside identifies the prestigious Lyon pipe and tobacco merchant "Au Sultan".
A fine collector's piece representing traditional French pipe-making and tobacconist history.
